Vehicle Sales & Return Terms

Owner-consigned purchases, buyer funds held in trust and the 10-day money-back guarantee. Transport-only bookings use the separate Transport Terms.

Seller service and vehicle custody

All inventory vehicles belong to sellers for whom CAB intermediates the sale. After a request, CAB checks vehicle condition and ownership and sale documents at the seller location. If approved, the parties agree the vehicle-specific commission and sale authority before CAB takes the vehicle into custody and lists it.

There is no fee for the pre-listing inspection, initial collection into the program or program withdrawal. Qualifying buyer-return transport is a separate seller responsibility, as stated below and in the written seller agreement. CAB retains commission only after a completed sale. Withdrawing a vehicle does not override an already binding transaction or rights under applicable law. Known defects, liens, restrictions and relevant disclosures must be recorded; title questions must be resolved before closing.

Price shipping and seller credits

Buy It Now shows the vehicle price, a delivery estimate and their combined estimated total. CAB confirms the written price, transport arrangements and any applicable tax, title or registration charge before payment. An estimate does not reserve a vehicle or create a charge.

The seller of the 2011 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40 QXP provides a credit for the first 500 delivery miles. The calculator applies it automatically to that listing. The credit reduces the estimated base shipping charge proportionately, up to the full base shipping amount. It has no cash value, does not reduce the vehicle price and cannot be added to another mileage voucher for the same delivery.

Trust account and shipment release

The buyer funds the agreed transaction before delivery. CAB holds the purchase funds in a trust account through delivery and inspection under the written transaction instructions. The instructions identify the account arrangement, payment method and permitted settlement or refund.

The buyer sends the bank receipt through the verified channel supplied by CAB. CAB checks that the funds have actually arrived in the trust account before releasing transport. A receipt image alone is not confirmation of receipt. Funds are not released to the seller before explicit written buyer acceptance and the agreed closing checks. CAB does not collect card or bank credentials through the website.

10 days to inspect and test

The period begins at documented delivery and ends at the corresponding local time 10 calendar days later. Record that deadline, time zone, condition, starting reading, keys, documents and accessories at handover. Permitted testing allows up to 250 additional road miles or 25 additional operating hours for boats and equipment, as applicable. Any extension requires written agreement.

The buyer may inspect personally or arrange a non-destructive independent inspection. Safeguard the vehicle, operate it lawfully and stop use if unsafe. Do not modify, repair, transfer, lend, pledge or abuse the vehicle without approval. Normal permitted testing and pre-existing issues do not themselves disqualify a return.

Acceptance and seller settlement

Send explicit written acceptance to support@cab-transport-llc.com identifying the transaction and vehicle. After the closing requirements are complete, CAB initiates settlement by the next business day and deducts the agreed seller commission. Any seller-applied delivery benefit is accounted for separately under the written seller agreement; it does not create an undisclosed buyer charge. Early acceptance ends the voluntary return option, subject to mandatory legal rights. A delivery receipt, silence or expiry alone is not purchase acceptance.

Rejection collection and full qualifying refund

You may reject for dissatisfaction or a stated concern by emailing support@cab-transport-llc.com before the recorded deadline. Identify the transaction, vehicle, location and contact details, and retain proof of your notice. A timely rejection stops seller settlement. Collection may take place after the notice deadline.

CAB arranges return pickup. Stop further testing, safeguard the vehicle and provide reasonable access. At your address, CAB checks condition, readings and returned items against the delivery record, allowing normal permitted testing. The vehicle must remain in substantially the same condition, with its delivered items complete.

For a qualifying return, CAB initiates the refund transfer at pickup, immediately after onsite verification. The refund includes the vehicle price and the initial shipping amount actually paid to CAB. The seller covers qualifying return transport. No commission or restocking fee is deducted. A seller credit is not refundable as cash. Bank processing determines when the initiated transfer appears in your account. Any separate tax or registration collection is accounted for under the written agreement and applicable law.

No decision condition concerns and cancellation

If no decision arrives, testing ends and CAB seeks written resolution. Document new damage, missing items or disputed use against the handover records. Funds are not automatically forfeited or paid to the seller. A disputed allocation requires joint written instructions or a binding lawful direction.

If no shipment notice is provided within five calendar days after cleared-funds confirmation, the buyer may request cancellation. CAB verifies dispatch and initiates the held-funds refund by the next business day if unshipped. If already dispatched, CAB arranges recovery and accounts for held funds. An existing signed agreement is not amended by a later website edit.

Documents warranties and notices

For covered vehicles, the required Buyers Guide and warranty disclosures must be available with the vehicle sale materials. Before funding, CAB provides the applicable inspection findings, title and sale disclosures and copies of the required transaction documents. The program does not certify the absence of every defect or waive mandatory rights. Required registration and actual insurance must be confirmed before operation.

Illinois law applies subject to mandatory federal and consumer protections. A business day excludes weekends and U.S. federal banking holidays. Send acceptance and rejection notices directly to support@cab-transport-llc.com; call (618) 348-0226 for urgent coordination. A general website form is not a substitute for the written notice required for your transaction.
