CAB guarantee terms, version 5. Effective for new CAB vehicle purchases from October 28, 2026, and incorporated into their written purchase documents. Existing signed agreements retain their applicable terms.
CAB operates online. Every new vehicle purchase arranged through CAB TRANSPORT LLC includes this 10-day money-back guarantee. The written purchase agreement incorporates this policy before funding and identifies the seller of record, buyer, vehicle, full purchase price, delivery details, applicable usage limit, fund holder, actual funds arrangement, and CAB’s role. For an owner-consigned vehicle, CAB coordinates the sale for the owner and discloses its assistance and commission. If CAB is the named seller of a CAB-owned vehicle, that role is stated expressly; CAB is not represented as an independent escrow agent in its own sale. This guarantee covers the vehicle purchase, not a trial of a transport-only service. Later website changes do not amend an existing signed transaction.
For an owner-consigned sale, CAB holds the buyer’s cleared purchase funds in escrow during delivery and the inspection period under the written transaction instructions. If CAB is the seller of record, the agreement must instead explain the actual purchase-fund holding and refund arrangement; CAB is not an independent third-party escrow holder in its own sale. The same 10-day money-back guarantee applies. In either case, the agreed purchase funds remain held during testing and after a timely rejection, with no final seller settlement without explicit written acceptance and the agreed closing requirements. The named holder, account arrangement, and any applicable protections are explained with supporting information before funding.
CAB arranges physical delivery through the assigned provider. At handover, the parties record the date and time, odometer or operating-hour reading, vehicle condition, keys, documents, and accessories. The buyer may add observations and retain photographs. The inspection lasts 10 consecutive calendar days from the documented delivery date and time. The deadline is the corresponding local time 10 calendar days later, using the delivery-location time zone recorded in the delivery confirmation. Any extension requires written agreement; a pending request or silence does not extend the deadline. A delivery receipt is not final purchase acceptance. A business day means Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal banking holidays.
The buyer may inspect the vehicle, compare it with the description and documents, and arrange a non-destructive inspection by an independent mechanic, technician, or specialist. Road vehicles may be driven up to 250 additional miles for testing. Boats and equipment may be operated up to 25 additional hours where that limit applies. The applicable limit and starting reading must appear in the transaction record. Additional use requires prior written approval. Testing must be lawful and take place only with the registration, permits, insurance, and operator qualifications required for that use.
During the inspection period, the buyer must safeguard the vehicle and all delivered items. The buyer must not sell, transfer, rent, lend, pledge, or otherwise dispose of the vehicle; remove parts; modify, repaint, or repair it without prior written approval; or use it for racing, abusive use, unlawful activity, or unauthorized commercial work. Non-destructive professional inspection is permitted. If an urgent safety or mechanical issue arises, stop operating the vehicle, contact CAB, and document the issue. Nothing here requires continued operation of an unsafe vehicle or overrides applicable legal rights.
The buyer may use the full inspection period and is not required to accept early. To accept, the buyer sends CAB a clear written acceptance identifying the transaction and vehicle. Early explicit acceptance ends this program’s inspection and return option and permits closing, without waiving rights that cannot lawfully be waived. CAB confirms the instruction and completes the agreed closing checks. CAB then releases the purchase funds to the seller, with only the seller commission and other deductions expressly authorized in the transaction documents. The seller’s settlement statement identifies those amounts. Release processing is initiated by the next business day after acceptance and completion of the agreed closing requirements; the receiving bank controls when funds become available.
A buyer who does not wish to complete the purchase must send CAB written rejection before the recorded 10-day deadline. The notice should identify the transaction, vehicle, current location, and contact details, and describe any condition or document concerns. Keep a copy of the notice. CAB acknowledges it and coordinates return pickup with the buyer. A timely rejection stops release of the buyer’s purchase funds to the seller. The buyer does not have to complete the return transport before the notice deadline. Rejection within the program is available for dissatisfaction as well as an identified problem, subject to the return conditions below.
The return comparison uses the documented delivery condition, starting readings, photographs, and inventory. Normal permitted inspection and testing within the applicable usage limit do not, by themselves, make the vehicle ineligible. The vehicle must have no new damage, unauthorized alterations, missing parts, or other material deterioration beyond that permitted use. A pre-existing or documented delivery issue is not treated as new buyer-caused damage. All keys, documents, manuals, accessories, and other delivered items must be returned, subject to applicable registration requirements. Exceeding a limit or a condition concern must be assessed and documented; it does not automatically forfeit the buyer’s funds.
CAB arranges collection after a timely written rejection through its assigned company or independent operator. The buyer stops further testing, safeguards the vehicle, and provides reasonable access for photographs, condition checks, and the confirmed pickup appointment. The handover records condition, readings, returned items, and transfer of custody. CAB promptly compares the return with the delivery record. If additional checks are needed, CAB explains the specific concern and next steps to the parties. The buyer safeguards the vehicle until handover; responsibility for loss or damage follows the agreement and applicable law. The seller of record covers scheduled delivery and return transport for a qualifying rejection, including CAB where CAB is the named seller. A regional reference city does not establish the return destination; CAB provides the actual collection and custody instructions.
The 10-day money-back guarantee provides a full refund of the qualifying vehicle purchase price after CAB’s assigned provider collects the vehicle and CAB confirms the return’s condition and completeness under this policy. CAB initiates the refund from the held purchase funds by the next business day after those conditions are confirmed. A return request alone does not trigger payment before collection and verification. Bank receipt may take additional time. CAB documents the refund method with the buyer. Seller commission, restocking, and qualifying return transport are not deducted from that purchase-price refund. Any separate service or fee must be disclosed and agreed before it is incurred; it is not silently added or deducted.
Silence, expiry of the 10-day period, and a signature acknowledging physical delivery are not automatic acceptance and do not, on their own, authorize release to the seller. If no decision arrives, the permitted testing period ends and CAB contacts the parties for written resolution, which may include an agreed extension or return arrangements. A late rejection does not automatically qualify for the program’s return right, and applicable legal rights remain available. Purchase funds stay held until explicit acceptance and closing, an agreed qualifying refund, joint written instructions, or a binding lawful resolution permits disbursement.
If new damage, missing items, unauthorized use, or another issue is alleged, CAB documents the concern against the delivery and collection records and gives both parties the opportunity to provide information. CAB does not automatically release the purchase funds to the seller or treat them as forfeited. Any proposed deduction or disputed allocation requires an agreed written resolution, the parties’ applicable escrow instructions, or a binding lawful direction. Uncontested amounts are handled according to the agreement and applicable law. A pending dispute does not authorize continued use of the vehicle.
The inspection program supplements the transaction’s written condition disclosures, any applicable warranty or Buyers Guide, and mandatory legal rights. It does not certify that a used vehicle is free from every defect or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Required registration and actual insurance arrangements must be confirmed before use; this page does not promise automatic temporary plates or a temporary insurance policy. If delivery cannot be completed, CAB notifies the parties and handles cancellation and held funds under the applicable written agreement and law. Transport insurance information belongs with the shipment documents; purchase-fund arrangements are identified in the escrow instructions.
