Answers before the move

Let’s make
the details clear.

Online buying, the 10-day money-back guarantee, contracted providers, regional planning, transport, and funds. Find the details before starting your request.

How much does vehicle transport cost?
Use our shipping calculator for a planning estimate for a running passenger car on open transport. Route, vehicle size and condition, dates, access, and equipment affect the written quote. Specialty vehicles are reviewed individually.
Does requesting a quote book my shipment?
No. The form requests an estimate. We confirm availability, pricing, scheduling, and shipment terms with you before a booking is made. A quote request does not authorize a charge.
Where can you transport my vehicle?
CAB coordinates requests online and assigns contracted companies or independent operators to the route and vehicle. Send both locations and CAB confirms actual availability, provider, and handover instructions before booking. Regional references show the proposed coordination geography, not confirmed depot addresses.
Can I request open or enclosed transport?
Include your preference in the quote form. We will discuss the equipment appropriate for your vehicle and confirm availability for your route and dates.
Can you help with a vehicle that does not run?
Tell us whether the vehicle starts, rolls, steers, and brakes, and describe any loading restrictions. We review the equipment and access needed before confirming whether we can accept the shipment.
What if my vehicle is oversized or modified?
Include its length, width, height, approximate weight, and any modifications. Mention low ground clearance, lift kits, accessories, trailers, or unusual loading needs. We review specialty requests individually.
Will pickup and delivery be at my exact address?
We confirm locations for each shipment. Narrow streets, low branches, weight restrictions, and limited turning space can prevent truck access. If needed, we will discuss a suitable nearby meeting location.
How should I prepare my vehicle?
Remove valuables and toll transponders. Photograph the vehicle and tell us about leaks, mechanical issues, alarms, or low clearance. Confirm the required fuel level, keys, and any special instructions with CAB. See our preparation guide.
Can I leave personal items in the vehicle?
Ask CAB before placing belongings inside the vehicle. Any permitted items, limits, and coverage must be confirmed for your shipment. Do not include hazardous materials, illegal items, or valuables.
What insurance applies to my shipment?
Request current coverage information and the terms that apply to your vehicle before booking. Confirm the coverage limits, any deductible, and exclusions in your shipment documents.
How do payment and cancellation work?
Payment methods, any deposit, and the conditions for changing or cancelling a shipment are confirmed in the written booking documents. The website does not collect payment or card details.
Are pickup and delivery dates guaranteed?
We confirm scheduling expectations with you before booking. Traffic, weather, road access, and equipment availability can affect timing. Any specific timing commitment must appear in your shipment agreement.
What should I do at pickup and delivery?
Walk around the vehicle with the driver or your authorized representative. Compare its condition with your photos and review the condition report or bill of lading before signing. Record concerns on the paperwork and contact CAB for the applicable next steps.
Can I request transport for several vehicles?
Yes. Add up to five vehicles to the online request. For a larger group, email the vehicle list, pickup and delivery locations, and target dates to support@cab-transport-llc.com. We will review the request with you.
Can CAB handle the sale of my vehicle?
Yes. You can ask CAB to collect your vehicle into custody and manage the sale and delivery process. We review the request and agree the service scope and commission for that vehicle in writing.
What happens before a vehicle is listed for sale?
Before listing, CAB arranges a detailed inspection by the appropriate appointed personnel or provider. Our analysts review the ownership and supporting sale documents. Findings, scope, and issues requiring correction or disclosure are documented. Physical work can take place with a contracted local provider; CAB coordinates the process online.
How much is the sales commission?
The commission varies by vehicle. The written seller agreement records the commission and any agreed additional charges. Contact CAB with the vehicle details for an individual proposal.
Who holds the buyer’s funds?
For owner-consigned sales, CAB holds cleared purchase funds in escrow during delivery and inspection. If CAB is the named seller, the agreement explains the actual purchase-fund holding arrangement and does not describe CAB as an independent escrow agent in its own sale. The same 10-day money-back guarantee applies, with the purchase funds held pending the documented decision and return or closing requirements. Read the funds arrangements.
When are funds released to the seller?
CAB releases the purchase funds after the buyer explicitly accepts in writing and the agreed closing requirements are complete. Processing begins by the next business day after those conditions. Silence or the end of the inspection period alone does not authorize a payout.
Does the vehicle inspection create a warranty?
The inspection records condition and operation before listing. Any warranty, condition commitment, or remedy must be described in the sale documents. Ask CAB about the findings and any issues requiring follow-up.
What happens if the vehicle does not sell or a buyer rejects it?
An unsold vehicle or seller withdrawal follows the seller agreement. For a vehicle purchase, reject in writing within the 10-day period. CAB arranges pickup and verifies the return against the delivery record. A qualifying return receives the full purchase-price refund from held funds. Read the money-back guarantee.
How do I send ownership documents for review?
Start with the seller inquiry form using basic vehicle and contact information. CAB will explain how the required documents are collected during onboarding. Do not put titles, identification documents, bank details, or payment instructions into the public form.
When do the 10 inspection days begin?
The 10 calendar days begin at the documented delivery date and time. The period ends at the corresponding local time 10 calendar days later. CAB records the delivery-location time zone and exact deadline in the delivery confirmation. Read the deadline rule.
How much may I drive or operate the vehicle during inspection?
The program allows up to 250 additional miles for road vehicles or 25 additional operating hours for boats and equipment, as applicable. The transaction record identifies the limit and starting reading. Use beyond that limit needs prior written approval, and all testing must be lawful. Read the testing conditions.
Does silence or the end of day 10 release my money?
No. Expiry of the period and a delivery receipt are not automatic purchase acceptance. CAB needs explicit written acceptance and the agreed closing requirements, or another valid written or lawful instruction for disbursement. If no decision arrives, testing ends and CAB contacts the parties for resolution.
Do I have to return the vehicle before the 10-day deadline?
Your written rejection must be sent before the recorded deadline. CAB then arranges pickup. The return transport does not have to be completed before the notice deadline. Keep the vehicle safeguarded and available for the agreed collection.
What counts as the same condition after a test drive?
CAB compares the return with the delivery condition record, photographs, readings, and inventory. Normal permitted testing within the limit is allowed. New damage, unauthorized changes, missing items, and material deterioration need to be assessed. Pre-existing issues are not treated as new buyer-caused damage.
When will I receive a refund after rejecting the vehicle?
For a qualifying return under the 10-day money-back guarantee, CAB arranges collection, verifies condition and completeness against the delivery record, and initiates the full vehicle purchase-price refund from the held purchase funds by the next business day after confirmation. Bank receipt may take longer. A timely written rejection stops seller settlement. Read the guarantee conditions.
Who pays for a qualifying return pickup?
The seller of record covers scheduled delivery and qualifying return transport, including CAB when CAB is the named seller. The qualifying full purchase-price refund is not reduced by seller commission, restocking, or return transport charges. Any separately agreed service is identified in the written transaction documents.
Can I calculate a shipping estimate before contacting CAB?
Yes. The shipping calculator gives a planning estimate for one running, factory-standard passenger car on open transport in the contiguous United States. Enter road miles from your route planner. Other vehicles, enclosed equipment, and routes outside the calculator range receive an individual quote. CAB confirms the route and total before booking.
How were the website shipping rates chosen?
We compared published open-car rates from five transport businesses at eight reference distances, using the midpoint of any published range and an equal-weight average. CAB’s reference estimates are 6% below that comparison. They are planning figures, not a national market average or a promise to beat every quote. See the method and sources.
How do the 500 free miles work?
After your first paid CAB transport is completed, CAB issues one voucher for up to 500 base transport miles on your next eligible order. Redeem within 12 months for one running, factory-standard passenger car on open transport in the contiguous United States. No minimum route length. Miles beyond 500 and any separately agreed extras remain payable. Full voucher terms apply.
Is the tracking page live GPS?
The tracking page shows shipment milestones, approximate locations, estimated delivery information, and the time of CAB’s latest update. It does not show a continuous GPS location. Use the shipment reference and private access code CAB gives you after booking. A quote request reference alone does not create a tracking record.
Are inventory vehicles owned by CAB?
A listing states whether a vehicle is offered by its owner through CAB’s seller program or is CAB-owned. Custody does not by itself transfer ownership. The agreement identifies the seller and actual funds arrangement. CAB is not an independent escrow agent in its own sale if it is the seller of record. Every new purchase through CAB includes the written 10-day money-back guarantee. Ask for the inspection information, title status, price, and documents before funding. See inventory.
Does CAB operate online only?
Yes. CAB operates online, with requests and transaction coordination handled remotely. Our team is available through the website, email, and phone. Physical collection, inspection, custody, delivery, and return pickup are arranged through contracted companies or independent operators. CAB does not operate a walk-in customer showroom. See the online buying process.
Can I visit the Sumner address or a regional depot?
The Sumner, Illinois address is the company contact address, not a walk-in showroom or public vehicle collection point. Do not travel to it or to a regional reference city expecting to inspect or collect a vehicle. CAB confirms any physical handover location, assigned provider, and appointment directly for your order.
Are the cities on the coverage map confirmed CAB depots?
No. The map identifies proposed metropolitan coordination references for regional planning. It is not a directory of CAB-owned warehouses, branches, or confirmed partner premises. CAB contracts providers according to the pickup, custody, and delivery requirements of each order. Read the coverage explanation.
Why does CAB offer a 10-day money-back guarantee?
Online buying means you evaluate the delivered vehicle away from a CAB showroom. Every new vehicle purchase arranged through CAB includes the written 10-day money-back guarantee. You have 10 calendar days from documented delivery and up to 250 additional road miles, or 25 operating hours where applicable. Reject in writing on time; CAB arranges collection and verifies the return before refunding the full qualifying purchase amount. Full guarantee and return conditions.
Who performs the physical work for an online CAB order?
CAB may contract a transport company, an independent operator, or an appropriate local service provider for the agreed task. Your confirmation identifies the assigned provider and practical handover instructions before the service. Ask CAB about the actual custody and insurance arrangements. A partner’s role in transport or storage does not authorize that partner to change your purchase, escrow, or refund terms.
Does the 10-day guarantee cover a transport-only order?
The money-back guarantee covers a vehicle purchase arranged through CAB under the purchase and inspection terms. It is not a trial of a transport service, a transport cancellation policy, or a vehicle warranty. Transport-only terms are confirmed in the shipment agreement. The 500-mile next-order voucher is a separate transport promotion and does not increase the 250-mile testing allowance.
