Sales & Escrow Terms
CAB’s online roles, contracted providers, custody, held funds, 10-day money-back guarantee, acceptance, collection, and qualifying refunds.
Effective date: October 28, 2026
1. Program scope and party roles
CAB operates online and coordinates vehicle sales, custody, inspection, analyst document review, delivery, and the written 10-day money-back guarantee. The purchase agreement identifies the seller of record and CAB’s actual role. In an owner-consigned sale, the owner remains the seller and CAB discloses its seller assistance and commission. If CAB is the named seller of a CAB-owned vehicle, that role is stated expressly and CAB is not described as an independent escrow agent in its own sale. CAB’s role, any economic interest, and the actual funds arrangement must be clear before funding.
3. Collection, custody, and condition records
CAB arranges physical work through contracted companies or independent operators selected for the vehicle’s location and service needs. The written arrangements identify the assigned provider, actual custody location where applicable, scope, access, responsibility, and actual insurance arrangements before the relevant handover. Condition, readings, keys, documents, and accessories are recorded when custody changes. Storage or possession does not by itself transfer title. The proposed reference metros on the coverage page are planning geography, not confirmed depot addresses or authority for a visit.
4. Inspection and analyst document review
Before listing, CAB arranges a detailed vehicle inspection through the appropriate appointed personnel or provider and its analysts review the ownership and supporting sale documents. Findings, scope, and issues requiring correction or disclosure are documented before publication. This is not a certification that every defect is absent. Buyers may arrange a non-destructive independent inspection during the 10-day period. Written warranties, required disclosures, and mandatory rights remain applicable.
5. Commission and separately agreed costs
For owner-consigned vehicles, CAB’s vehicle-specific commission is recorded in the seller agreement and authorized deductions appear in the settlement statement. A seller commission does not automatically apply where CAB itself is the seller of record. The seller of record covers scheduled delivery and qualifying return transport under the 10-day guarantee. A qualifying full purchase-price refund is not reduced by commission, restocking, or qualifying return transport. Separate services and costs must be clearly identified and agreed before they are incurred.
6. Purchase funds held by CAB
For owner-consigned sales, CAB receives and holds cleared purchase funds in escrow during delivery and inspection under written instructions. If CAB is the named seller, CAB is not an independent escrow holder in its own sale; the agreement explains the actual purchase-fund holding and refund arrangement before funding. Both structures retain the same 10-day money-back guarantee and the agreed purchase funds remain held during testing or after a timely rejection. The documents identify the holder, account arrangement, safeguarding information, payment method, and permitted disbursements. The public website does not accept payments.
7. Ten-day buyer inspection
Every new vehicle purchase arranged through CAB includes the written 10-day money-back guarantee. The period is 10 consecutive calendar days from documented delivery, with the exact local deadline recorded. It allows up to 250 additional road miles or 25 additional operating hours for boats and equipment, as applicable. Testing must be lawful and within the recorded limit. The 10-Day Money-Back Guarantee & Return Policy governs timely rejection, collection, condition verification, and the qualifying full purchase-price refund. The guarantee does not apply to a transport-only order or increase with the separate 500-mile transport voucher.
8. Explicit acceptance and settlement
A buyer’s explicit written acceptance and completion of the agreed closing requirements permit seller settlement. CAB initiates release processing by the next business day after those conditions. A delivery receipt, silence, or expiry of the inspection period is not automatic acceptance and does not by itself authorize a release.
9. Timely rejection, collection, and refund
The buyer sends written rejection before the recorded 10-day deadline. CAB arranges pickup through the assigned provider; the return transport need not finish before the notice deadline. CAB checks condition, readings, and returned items against the delivery record, allowing normal permitted testing and distinguishing pre-existing issues. For a qualifying return, CAB initiates the full purchase-price refund from held purchase funds by the next business day after collection and confirmation. Bank receipt may take longer.
10. Missing decisions, condition concerns, and disputes
If there is no timely decision, testing ends and CAB contacts the parties for written resolution; funds do not automatically pass to the seller. New damage, missing items, or a proposed deduction must be documented. Disputed funds remain held under the applicable instructions until an agreed written resolution or binding lawful direction permits disbursement. Vehicle use must stop while resolution is pending. The inspection policy explains the process.
11. Written agreements and existing transactions
Before funding, the seller, purchase, funds-handling, and escrow documents where applicable must consistently identify the parties, actual roles, transaction details, and the included 10-day money-back guarantee. Clarify any conflict before signing or payment. CAB arranges physical services through the identified providers without allowing them to vary purchase acceptance, fund release, or refund terms without the applicable written authority. Later website edits do not amend an existing signed agreement. Withdrawal of an unsold vehicle, cancellation before delivery, and other matters follow the applicable agreement and law. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
12. Online inquiries and notices
The public seller form starts an inquiry and does not authorize custody, a listing, an escrow transaction, or payment. CAB explains the separate process for collecting required documents. Acceptance or rejection for an existing transaction must be communicated in writing using the contact details and reference required by the inspection policy. Do not place bank details or document scans in the public form.
13. Contact CAB
CAB TRANSPORT LLC operates online. Company contact address: 19337 Chauncey Rd, Sumner, IL 62466, not a walk-in showroom or public collection point. Call (618) 348-0226 or email support@cab-transport-llc.com. Physical appointments and actual custody locations are confirmed per order. USDOT 3770080 and MC-1345455 identify transport registration information, not a certification of dealer authority, a funds guarantee, or an escrow license.
